I am currently a Provost New Faculty Fellow in the Department of Economics at Cornell University and will join the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Economics in July 2026. Originally from Puno, Peru, I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University.
My research interests lie broadly in econometric theory, (statistical) machine learning, and their applications in economics. Recently, I have focused on debiased machine learning (DML), inference using local projections, and identification and inference problems for treatment effects in stratified experiments. If you’re interested in discussing these topics, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
